The Chevrolet Camaro first appeared on sale in September 1966 and was a 2+2 available with both coupe and convertible bodies. It shared the same chassis and many other components from the Pontiac Firebird and a wide range of engine options were available, from the base model 230-cubic inch straight six to a 427-cubic inch V8. The Camaro RS 'Rally Sport' was offered to the general public as a desirable option package on the standard Camaro. Additional features included a new grill, 'hideaway' headlamps, wider body mouldings, unique emblems and Rally wheels with redline tyres. This original 'black plate' 1967 Chevrolet Camaro RS Coupe was originally registered to a Mr J.A.Hlarae of Palm Springs, California. It remained in Mr Hlarae's ownership for over forty years, covering a believed genuine 57,000 miles, until it was restored over a two year period from 2009-2011 by Wayne Artello of Classic Restorations, Nevada to original specification. There are bills and receipts in the history file for numerous works, totalling over $10,000 in parts alone. The car was purchased by the current owner in 2011 in California and was brought to and registered in the UK. REU 169E remains in stunning condition with straight body panels and excellent paintwork, as one would expect from a one stateside owner rust-free example. The original engine, a 327 cubic-inch 5.4 litre V8, has been rebuilt and starts on the button and the car is supplied with a current MoT test certificate until November 2012. This Camaro 'RS' represents true muscle car performance, whilst retaining an original charm that is rarely found outside of the USA. The quality of the restoration simply must be seen to be appreciated.Lot 1321967 Chevrolet Camaro 'Rally Sport' Coupé Registration: REU 169EChassis Number: 124377L128636Engine Number: Not SpecifiedEstimate (£): 24,000 - 28,000www.silverstoneauctions.com 62Lot 132 » 1967 Chevrolet Camaro 'Rally Sport' Coupé

The Spring Sale 16th May 201263In 1964 the Porsche 911 first entered production. The timeless design was a result of the work of, Ferdinand 'Butzi' Porsche and the company's joint founder and chief body engineer Erwin Komenda. The 911 soon became a car renowned for driveability featuring rack and pinion steering, torsion bar suspension and disc brakes front and rear. This 1988 Porsche 911 Carrera Sport was purchased by its current owner in 1995, having been sourced by Group C engineer Gerard Sauer. A large folder of bills detail expenditure from both Porsche main dealers and specialist companies during this time. Approximately five years ago the car was stripped to bare metal and painted in its original black colour scheme. F891UPB remains in highly original condition, whilst maintaining a superb paint finish and sound interior. All MoT test certificates and service booklet stamps substantiate the mileage of 107,000 miles from new. The car's original five-speed G50 gearbox offers genuine touring potential and the current owner assures us that he has enjoyed every moment of his 17-year ownership. Finished in the most desirable of colour combinations and with prices of 930 Turbo cars on the rise across the board, this later car offers fantastic value for money.Lot 1331988 Porsche 911 Carrera Sport Registration: F891UPBChassis Number: WPOZZZ91ZJS103429Engine Number: 63J04616Estimate (£): 12,000 - 15,000Lot 133 » 1988 Porsche 911 Carrera Sport
